The card collector's view

1997-98 Topps Chrome #125 is McGrady’s flagship rookie — a Refractor in high grade is the Magic/Rockets collection cornerstone. The 1997-98 SP Authentic and 1997-98 Skybox Premium rookies round out the rookie class. For premium collectors, his Panini National Treasures patch-autographs and Magic scoring-title-era jersey relics anchor any T-Mac collection.

About Tracy McGrady at FreshDCards

Tracy McGrady was the best pure scorer in the NBA for a stretch. Two scoring titles (2003 at 32.1 PPG, 2004 at 28.0), seven All-Star selections, seven All-NBA selections, and 13 points in 35 seconds against San Antonio in December 2004 — still one of the most replayed sequences in basketball history. Drafted ninth out of Mount Zion Christian Academy in 1997, traded from Toronto to Orlando in 2000, then to Houston, where back injuries cut short what was a generational career. Hall of Fame in 2017.
