Tony Gonzalez retired holding every meaningful tight-end record — 1,325 receptions, 15,127 yards, 111 touchdowns — and made 14 Pro Bowls doing it, more than any tight end in NFL history. He spent his first 12 seasons with Kansas City after the Chiefs drafted him 13th overall in 1997, then signed with Atlanta in 2009 and put up four more Pro Bowls into his late 30s. He redefined the position from blocker to primary receiving threat and went in on the first ballot in 2019.
