Paul Pierce was the truth and the heart of the 2008 Celtics. Drafted 10th in 1998 (every team that passed on him still pays for it), he spent 15 seasons in Boston, won the 2008 NBA Finals MVP leading the Big Three over the Lakers, and finished with 26,397 career points (16th all-time). Ten-time All-Star, four-time All-NBA, and “The Truth” nickname courtesy of Shaquille O’Neal himself after a 42-point night against the Lakers in 2001.
