Brodeur has only two recognized rookie cards, both from 1990-91 Score #439 — the US-market base and the bilingual Canadian variant. Score was the only major manufacturer that included Brodeur in 1990-91, which makes the card the lone mainstream chase despite the era's massive print runs. The red borders make Gem Mint condition difficult. Modern Upper Deck SP Authentic, The Cup, and various retrospective Devils sets offer accessible signature, jersey, and patch memorabilia for the all-time-winningest goaltender collection.

Martin Brodeur is the all-time NHL wins leader at 691 and the all-time shutouts leader at 125 — numbers nobody is catching anytime soon. 22 seasons with the New Jersey Devils, three Stanley Cups (1995, 2000, 2003), four Vezina Trophies, two Olympic golds with Canada. He played a uniquely active style for a goaltender, handling the puck so frequently the NHL eventually drew the trapezoid behind the net specifically to limit him. The 2000 Conn Smythe nearly went his way and the Devils dynasty wouldn't have existed without his rebound control.
