The New Jersey Devils' 2019 first overall pick has spent his entire career in New Jersey, signing an eight-year, $64 million extension in 2021 that runs through 2030. His career-high 99 points in 2022-23 (43 goals, 56 assists) broke the Devils' single-season scoring record for an American-born player. Injuries have cost him significant time in 2023-24 and 2024-25.
