The card collector's view

1987 Topps #103 is Carter’s rookie card from his Eagles tenure — a key 1987 set piece and the foundation of any Carter collection. The 1989 Score Supplemental and 1990 Score Vikings-era cards anchor the early Minnesota years. For premium collectors, his Panini National Treasures patch-autographs and Vikings retrospective jersey relics provide the high-end memorabilia options.

About Cris Carter at FreshDCards

All Cris Carter did was catch touchdowns. After Buddy Ryan cut him from the Eagles in 1990, the Vikings claimed him on waivers and watched him develop into the most prolific red-zone receiver of his era: 1,101 career receptions (third all-time at retirement), 130 touchdowns (second only to Jerry Rice), and eight consecutive Pro Bowls from 1993 through 2000. Two First-Team All-Pros, the 1999 Walter Payton Man of the Year, and a Hall of Fame induction in 2013 after six years on the ballot.
