Stevie Knicks Forever: Taylor Swift's Viral Knicks Pun Is Now a Plaque

When Taylor Swift rolled into Madison Square Garden for Game 4 of the NBA Finals, she wasn’t just repping the Knicks — she was repping a pun. Her custom orange-on-blue tee read “STEVIE KNICKS,” a wink to rock legend (and her real-life mentor) Stevie Nicks. The internet lost it. So naturally… we put it on a plaque.

The shirt heard ’round the Garden

Swift sat courtside with her longtime friends Alana and Este Haim, and the trio showed up in matching homemade Knicks-blue tees, each with its own groan-worthy pop pun: Taylor as “Stevie Knicks,” Alana as “Knickelback,” and Este as “Knickole Kidman.” Per Billboard, Alana actually made the shirts herself on a Cricut — $3 tees and a jar of orange paint from the craft store — while Taylor came up with the puns. (Nicole Kidman even gave them a shout-out.)

It’s the perfect kind of crossover: a dad-joke pun, a music icon, and a Knicks team that just brought New York its first title since 1973.
