New York Jets rookie Omar Cooper Jr. was back in the lineup on October 18 at New England, and he made it count. He caught 6 of 7 targets for 103 yards, the first 100-yard game of his career, and in the third quarter he got behind the Patriots secondary for a 48-yard touchdown from Geno Smith. It was his first NFL touchdown.
Cooper said he read the coverage and ran his route to pull the safety away before crossing over, and Smith summed him up afterward: "He's a playmaker." In his NFL debut in Week 1 at Tennessee, his only catch went for 30 yards, so his first two games have produced 7 catches and 133 yards.

He was part of the first draft in which Indiana had two first-round picks.
Omar Cooper Jr. rookie cards
His base rookie card is 2026 Topps Football #321, Topps' first NFL flagship in a decade, and the easiest way to get it is the Jets team set, which comes with the rest of the Jets too, including fellow rookies Kenyon Sadiq and David Bailey. The fan favorite is his 1991 Topps Rookies #91TR-21 insert, a throwback design that also comes in a crackle foil parallel and a pink crackle foil parallel. For a relic card there is his 1991 Rookie Relic, and the Jets 1991 Topps insert pack includes his rookie insert.
