The card collector's view

Mikita's rookie card is the 1960-61 Topps #14 — a key vintage hockey card alongside Bobby Hull as the two most valuable in the set, with high-grade examples driving strong demand. He also has first-year premiums in the 1960-61 Topps Stamps and Shirriff Coins releases. Topps releases through 1980 capture his entire Blackhawks career. Modern Upper Deck retrospective sets and various Blackhawks heritage releases offer signed memorabilia for the Mikita collection.

About Stan Mikita at FreshDCards

Stan Mikita is the Hall of Fame center who played 22 seasons with the Chicago Blackhawks — every game of his NHL career in one sweater. He won the 1961 Stanley Cup alongside Bobby Hull and Glenn Hall, then transitioned from one of the league's penalty leaders to its model of restraint, winning back-to-back Hart, Art Ross, and Lady Byng Trophies in 1967 and 1968 (a triple-trophy double nobody has matched since). 541 goals. 1,467 career points. He invented the curved hockey stick. He died in 2018 with a statue outside the United Center.
