May 24 in Dodgers History: 16 Los Angeles Dodgers Players Suspended For Wrigley Field Stands Brawl (2000)

MLB Commissioner Bud Selig suspended 16 Los Angeles Dodgers players and three coaches for fighting with Chicago Cubs fans in the stands during a game at Wrigley Field on May 24, 2000. The brawl began when backup catcher Chad Kreuter was hit in the head and had his cap taken, resulting in an eight-game suspension for Kreuter along with coaches Glenn Hoffman, Rick Dempsey, and John Shelby.
