On June 9, 1990, Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Eddie Murray hit home runs from both sides of the plate against the San Diego Padres, tying Mickey Mantle's MLB record of 10 such games. Murray's left-handed home run in the 11th inning proved to be the winning run in the Dodgers' 5-4 victory.
