Broadcaster Vin Scully was part of the opening ceremonies for the first NHL Stadium Series game held at Dodger Stadium on January 25, 2014, between the Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks. The Ducks won 3-0 before an announced crowd of 54,099 in the first outdoor NHL regular season game played west of the Mississippi.
