January 15 in Dodgers History: Matt Kemp Agrees To Two-Year Contract Extension With Los Angeles Dodgers (2010)

The Los Angeles Dodgers and Matt Kemp agreed to a two-year, $10.95 million contract extension to avoid salary arbitration. Kemp was coming off a career season in which he batted .297 with 26 home runs, 101 RBI, and 34 stolen bases while winning his first Silver Slugger and Gold Glove Awards.
