Roberto Clemente was a once-in-a-generation talent and one of the most beloved figures in baseball history, on the field and off it.
A 15-time All-Star and 12-time Gold Glove winner, Clemente collected exactly 3,000 hits, won two World Series titles with the Pirates, the 1966 National League MVP, and the 1971 World Series MVP. He was the first Latino player inducted into the Hall of Fame.
