The Philadelphia Phillies are giving Chase Utley a permanent place in club history. On August 7, 2026, the franchise will induct him onto the Phillies Wall of Fame, the 51st player so honored, before a game at Citizens Bank Park.
It is a fitting tribute to the face of the Phillies' golden era. Utley anchored the team that won the 2008 World Series and five consecutive division titles, and his No. 26 has effectively been retired, unworn by a Phillie since he left.
Fans heading to the ballpark that day, or watching from home, will get to celebrate one of the most beloved players in franchise history. It is also a great time to add a Chase Utley plaque to the wall.
