Detroit basketball is back, and Cade Cunningham is the reason why.
Last night Cade put up 27 points, 11 assists, and 6 rebounds to lead the Pistons to a 98-83 win over the Orlando Magic in Game 2 — evening the series at 1-1 and ending the franchise's 18-year home playoff losing streak. After carrying the team almost single-handedly with 39 points in Game 1, Cade finally got the support he needed, with five teammates scoring in double figures as Detroit exploded for a 30-3 run to open the third quarter.
This is the young Pistons team Detroit fans have been waiting for. If you've been watching all season and want to mark the moment, we've got you covered.
