June 6 in Dodgers History: Mike Piazza hits 477-foot grand slam at Joe Robbie Stadium (1994)

In his third season with the Los Angeles Dodgers, catcher Mike Piazza hit the longest home run in Joe Robbie Stadium history, a grand slam to center field that traveled 477 feet and marked his first career grand slam. The shot gave the Dodgers a 4-2 lead in the second inning, but the team lost 11-10 in a walk-off as the bullpen failed to protect the lead.
