Some players are remembered for a career. Joe Carter is remembered for a swing. For a decade he was one of baseball's most reliable run producers, but in Toronto he became a legend the night he ended a World Series with one swing of the bat.
On October 23, 1993, with the Blue Jays trailing the Phillies in Game 6, Carter launched a three-run walk-off home run to win the World Series and clinch back-to-back championships for Toronto. Announcer Tom Cheek's call, "Touch 'em all, Joe, you'll never hit a bigger home run in your life," is one of the most famous in the sport. It remains one of only two home runs ever to end a World Series, and the only one hit by a team that was behind.

The eight-card career plaque (12x15)
The moment overshadows just how good Carter was. A five-time All-Star and two-time World Series champion, he was a feared power hitter who drove in 100 or more runs ten times and finished with 396 career home runs. In Toronto he was the heart of the only back-to-back champions in franchise history.
Now the Blue Jays are immortalizing him in bronze. You can honor him too with a Joe Carter plaque for your fan cave.
