George Pickens Bet One Year on Dallas. It Paid Off.

The Cowboys traded for George Pickens in May of 2025, and a year later that looks like one of the better deals they have made in a while.

Pickens went off in his first season in Dallas. He caught 93 passes for 1,429 yards and nine touchdowns, all career highs by a wide margin, and not by a little. He made his first Pro Bowl and landed on the second-team All-Pro list. Pairing him across from CeeDee Lamb gave the Cowboys the kind of two-receiver problem that defenses genuinely cannot solve, and Pickens spent the year reminding everyone how good he is when the targets are there.

The money got interesting this spring. Pickens is playing 2026 on a one-year deal worth about $27.3 million, fully guaranteed, after the franchise tag conversation. He skipped some of the voluntary offseason work to make his point, but he has made it clear there will be no holdout from camp or the season. Jerry Jones told him face to face that the long-term deal is not coming this year, so Pickens is doing the smart thing and betting on himself again. If he posts another season like the last one, the next number is enormous.

One note for collectors and gift-givers. Pickens has only been a Cowboy since 2025, so his Dallas card supply is still thin. We built him in the three smaller sizes for now.

The 4x6 single card and the 3-card 8x10 both use his sharp 2025 Cowboys cards, Chrome and premium parallels that pop against the dark wood.

The exact card may vary slightly from the one pictured. You'll always get a genuine licensed card of this player.
