The card collector's view

Trottier's rookie card is the 1976-77 O-Pee-Chee #115 — the most desirable Trottier card and the headliner of the 1976-77 OPC set. The 1976-77 Topps #115 is the US-market parallel. A 1976-77 OPC #67 Record Breaker subset card is sometimes treated as a co-rookie. Vintage O-Pee-Chee and Topps releases from 1977-94 capture his Islanders dynasty and Penguins championship years. Modern Upper Deck SP Authentic and retrospective Islanders sets offer signed memorabilia and patch options.

About Bryan Trottier at FreshDCards

Bryan Trottier is the Hall of Fame center who anchored the Islanders' four straight Cups (1980-1983) and the Penguins' back-to-back in 1991 and 1992 — six rings as a player across two dynasties. He won the 1976 Calder, the 1979 Hart, the 1980 Conn Smythe, and the 1979 Art Ross. He fed Mike Bossy for nearly a decade as the engine of one of hockey's most lethal lines, then helped Lemieux's young Penguins find their championship rhythm at the end of his career. He spent decades coaching and front-officing after retirement.
